Throughout her life, Gabrielle Chanel developed a passion for Chinese lacquer screens. They made her dream of faraway landscapes, and still adorn the walls of her apartment at 31, rue Cambon in Paris. The one in her office depicts the city of Hangzhou, China, and its legendary lake, where the 2024/25 Métiers d’art show took place last December. Celebrating this timeless inspiration, the collection’s campaign is an invitation to a dreamlike voyage.
