INSPIRATION

Gabrielle Chanel did not allow herself to be defined by her astrological sign: she made it her own. Proud and passionate, she fully embodied it. Instinctive and daring, she took inspiration from it. The lion became her totem animal. She collected lion figurines and made it a recurring theme in her creations, adorning the buttons of her suits and the clasps of her bags and jewellery with its symbol.
